Hopkins Milwaukie Wisconsin cobalt blue pontiled

This one is an 1850's light cobalt soda with a 'top-hat' lip finish, a big iron crusted kick up pontil and just about everything else you could want in a Wisconsin soda. Embossed on the front "HOPKINS CELEBRATED MINERAL WATERS MILWAUKIE" Note the N's are reversed and the old style spelling of Milwaukee. Found digging along a foundation in the hallowed Brewers Hill neighborhood in Milwaukee. From the collection of club member Steven Libbey
